Our Family Story

We are happy to share with you why we started Fall Afresh Catholic Media and it all begins at the very core of our upbringing- our family. We hope to give you an insight through Fall Afresh, on how important family is and how it is under attack in this day and age. Here we share a part of us, our hopes, our dreams, and most importantly, our strength.

A Family Built on the Rock

Fall Afresh Catholic Media is an apostolate that originates from a Christ-centered home. It is a response to a calling that God made to the Salgado family. It begins with the story of a missionary who met a teacher in Mexico. This couple who joined in Holy Matrimony, had three children: a musician, an artist, and a singer. A family who quickly acknowledged their gifts and began their service for the kingdom of God. They grew up praising the Lord in song, dance, art, and ministry. Every step of the way, looking for another way to serve God. However, there was a dream... To use all that they have learned and experienced, to form a community and start a small business sharing the love and beauty of the Catholic Faith.

Only Through God's Grace

After the loss of the spiritual head of the family in 2021 life took an unexpected turn. With the help of God, friends, family, and the many people they had served with over the years, the family became more united and began their journey toward answering God's call for them.

With the family's dream, and the father's vision in their heart, Fall Afresh Catholic Media became a reality. A faith company looking to collaborate with like-minded Catholics, using the many gifts and talents they have been given, to glorify God. A loving and merciful God, that turns tragedy into triumph, weakness into strength, and dreams into reality (when in line with His perfect Will, of course).

Sharing Your Gift with the World

As we continue asking the Holy Spirit to guide us in our evangelization efforts, we acknowledge that part of the job also belongs to each one of us in discovering and developing our natural God-given talents. Throughout the years the Salgado family has strived to do just that. Through small accomplishments that boost our confidence, breaking out of insecurities, surrendering to the Lord, and taking leaps of faith, we have reached a point where we no longer want our gifts to be just our own. We invite you to join us in continuing to ask God every day, anew, afresh, "Lord what do you want from me today? Use me as an instrument of peace, of love, of joy! May my talents be used to glorify you and bring others to encounter the beauty of our faith. Amen"
